At a time when we should be investing more – not less – in early education and child care, President Bush is proposing a new plan that would make it harder to provide quality care to the families we serve.

Under Bush’s plan, in this year alone, over 30,000 children would lose access to Head Start entirely and many would lose transportation and other needed services.

But if Congress takes action, we can protect Head Start and improve the quality of care children receive.  Please contact your member of Congress and your Senators to urge them to invest in Head Start and child care services for our children.
