Help Ensure Healthcare for America's Children

More than 9 million American kids have no health care coverage.

But Congress is considering an increase of $50 billion in the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) to provide health coverage to millions of children whose families don't qualify for Medicaid and can't afford private insurance.

This new funding for children's health insurance would allow the largest expansion in health care coverage since 1965, and help build a bridge to comprehensive, universal health care for all Americans.
